The MR-8P rifle is a precise handheld player weapon in Space Engineers. It is a single-shot sniper rifle that is typically used together with the target zoom — hold RMB to aim and shoot with LMB.
The MR-series rifle is a staple of both military and police forces, exceptionally reliable, easy to use, easy to clean.
Rifles come in four variants, Standard (MR-20 Rifle), Marksman (MR-8P Rifle), Squad Support (MR-50A Rifle), and Elite (MR-30E Rifle). You can recognise this marksman (sniper) rifle in your inventory by the reticle symbol.
You create the MR-8P rifle in the Tool tab of the Assembler. It needs Iron Ingots, Nickel Ingots, and Cobalt Ingots which makes it a mid-game rifle that requires a full Assembler. You recharge it with MR-8P Magazines.
