The Icon Block Large Cargo Container Large Cargo Container is a block in Space Engineers. It serves as inventory storage.

The Large Cargo Container comes in two variants: one for Large Ships/Stations that is a 3x3x3 cube, and a version for Small Ships that is a 5x5x5 mini-cube.

With Realistic settings, the Large Cargo Container has an inventory with a capacity of 15,625L on Small Ships and 421,000L on Large Ships and Stations. The inventory accepts all items, acting as general storage.

If attached to a conveyor system, the container is flagged to receive pushed items from and send pulled items to other blocks.[1] The Large Cargo Container sports a single large conveyor port centered on each side.

Cargo Ship Spawn

The Large Cargo Container will spawn in the following ships if "Cargo Ships" is enabled.

Due to its immense size and cost to produce, it is another valuable target in a combat situation. The destruction of an enemy's vital stores, combined with its relative ease of destruction, will leave your enemies a part-strewn mess to clean up. If the container is only partially destroyed, its contents will remain inside and can be accessed again by repairing the container.

Prior to the 1.094 update the large ship's large cargo container held only 125kl of cargo, having an array of 27 small cargo containers you could achieve more than 3 times the capacity of a large cargo container, while occupying the same space.
