The EasyStation maps used to be the first set of Custom Games to start with (after doing the tutorial Scenarios). These starter games are now called "Earth Planet", "Mars Planet", "Alien Planet", and "Moon Base". Beginner space engineers can use the provided equipment to study game mechanics and learn how to build them themselves for future adventures.
Overview[]
The EasyStation is a multi-use scenario for Engineers who want a relatively easier start of their journey that gives them time to learn the game mechanics slowly.
The station provides all equipment for immediate survival on planets. The same station is being used as EarthEasyStation, MarsEasyStation and AlienEasyStation, Earth being the easiest location for the EasyStation, Mars being the middle-ground difficulty, and finally Alien Planet being the hardest with frequent Sabiroids attacks. There are subtle differences to make the bases feel different, but their mechanical composition is the same. The three core rooms are the same while the position of the auxiliary platforms seems to vary.
Equipment[]
The station has all the base essentials for survival in Space Engineers (v1.157013 12/13/2016). This means it is complete with Medical Room, Solar Panels, and seven Batteries. It does not contain any Reactors, so power consumption should be on the mind of the Engineer. But with sixteen Solar Panels, power gain should not be too difficult, despite running two Refineries.
What makes this base design good for beginners, is that it is autonomous. It not only supplies the necessary equipment for planetary survival and production, but also provides a decent defense (automated turrets and a fighter ship) against pirate threats.
Finally, the base is well accessible on foot over ramps. This ease-of-access allows the Engineer to maintain most parts of the base without the use of the Hydrogen jetpack.
The doors and airlocks are not automated, so adventurers must be careful with door usage when first starting off on planets with no breathable atmosphere. The center room acts as a proper airlock when the Button Panels are used properly on inhospitable planets. The atmospherically inhospitable planets are Alien planet and Mars.
It should be noted that all EasyStartStations are located in Drone range of an enemy station (which, in the original scenario, used to make their first drone assault within three to six minutes of the game start). The player can use the existing equipment to prepare defenses and prevent damage to the station. The Deterrent mk.1 atmospheric fighter is more than a match to finish the Drone threats and disable the nearest Pirate facility.
Contents & Equipment[]
The base comes with a full compliment of VTOL (Vertical Take Off and Landing) craft - A Miner, a Constructor, and the Deterrent mk.1 fighter plane. It also includes a Welder Pit for quick repairs, and a Grinder Pit for recycling enemy wrecks, with a Large Cargo Container to store salvaged components. There are two projections of blueprinted vessels for the engineer to weld up if they so choose, one of which is another VTOL and the other is a wheeled transport truck.

Trivia[]
Finally, as a kind of easter egg, this planet station is evidence of the first factions introduced to the game: One being the SPRT, Space Pirates, and now with the FSTC base, The First Colonists, the faction of which the Engineer appears to be a member of.
