Drifting Pursuants are disc-shaped, aerial adversaries that belong to the "Space Pirates" [SPRT] faction. They sport dual-gun firing capabilities and can be a threat to relatively underprepared, small-grid, sub-orbital aircraft. They can be found only in SPRT Headquarters.
Drifting Pursuants can be very oppressive, as they seek out the player regardless of distance. To dispatch them, it is advised to bring longer-ranged, automatic, and fast-firing weaponry, as their strength in numbers can overwhelm lower-tier players. In the early game, approaching Headquarter bases is risky and rarely rewarding.
Although Drifting Pursuants may be a fierce enemy, if the correct weaponry is brought, a singular SPRT District Headquarters base can yield deep-space travel with Ion Thrusters in an early-game scenario. Six artillery cannons, targeting "Weapons," can destroy any incoming adversaries while also penetrating the treacherous depths of the base - a few interior turrets and some outside resistance. Perfidious indeed.
