Console Block

This large-grid block could be easily renamed the holographic table: It’s a sci-fi war room desk with a translucent hologram in the center.

It is a purchasable block with the Decorative Pack DLC. If a purchaser of the DLC has built this block in multiplayer, other players can see the hologram and can be allowed to use the block, even if they cannot build it.

Usage

Open the Control Panel Screen of the Console and choose the hologram to be displayed from the list of blueprints that you have made. In contrast to the large-grid projector, the console can project both large and small grid blueprints.

You may have to move the projection in order to make it look aesthetically pleasing. The positioning buttons work much like the ones in the Projector block for moving the hologram.

Tip: Any shape that you build and save as blueprint can be projected as hologram. It doesn't have to be a ship, it could also be a self-built mecha, terrain map, floor plan, etc. ...

Comparison

What distinguishes the Console from the Projector is that the Console Block projection cannot be welded, it’s purely decorative. The Projector also displays blueprints in full scale size, but the Console Block scales them down, so a whole battleship could fit on the Console.
